Chairman, Jenny Liu, Supports Hsinchu Guangfu High School Basketball Team, Anticipating a Brighter Future
Chairman Jenny Liu of Asia IC-Mic Process, Inc. (ASIAICMP) posed for a photo with the Hsinchu Guangfu High School basketball team at Taipei Arena. As an alumna of Hsinchu Guangfu Senior High School, Chairman Liu learned in December 2023 of the financial needs of the school's basketball team. Taking immediate action, Chairman Liu personally donated NT$1.5 million to the basketball team and an additional NT$100,000 to support the baseball team, aiming to boost the development of sports education in the school.
Upon learning about the needs of her alma mater's basketball team through the news, Chairman Liu, guided by her long-standing belief in "giving when there is a need," translated her concern for the younger generation into immediate action. In addition to financial contributions, Chairman Liu has interacted with the Hsinchu Guangfu High School basketball team on multiple occasions, supporting the coaches and players in their pursuit of a brighter vision.
Throughout the 2024 High School Basketball League (HBL) season, Chairman Liu visited the courts multiple times, highly praising the players for their resilience and unwavering determination. In the final match held on March 17, the Hsinchu Guangfu High School basketball team clinched the runner-up title in the A division men's category. Despite falling short of their goal to win the championship for the third consecutive year, the team's outstanding teamwork and spirit of perseverance won widespread acclaim from spectators and society at large.
In the 2024 HBL season, the Hsinchu Guangfu High School basketball team consistently delivered excellent performances, showcasing not only athletic prowess but also the unity of various supporters and the courage to face challenges. This steadfast belief resonates with Asia IC-Mic Process, Inc.'s corporate spirit, much like Asia IC-Mic Process, Inc.'s success in semiconductor high-tech facilities is the result of collaborative efforts from various partners.
